Health coverage built around real life.

Private health plans, ACA Marketplace coverage, and dental and vision, reviewed in one place. Tell us about your household and what you need, and a licensed agent compares the plans, explains the fine print, and checks your doctors and prescriptions before you enrol.

What the coverages mean

Plain words for every line on a quote

Monthly premium

What you pay every month to keep the plan, before any Marketplace savings are applied.

The number everyone compares first, and the least useful on its own: a low premium usually means a higher deductible.

Deductible

What you pay for care each year before the plan starts paying its share. Many plans cover preventive visits and some prescriptions before it is met.

A $500 deductible and a $7,000 deductible are different plans with the same name. Ask what counts toward it.

Out-of-pocket maximum

The most you pay in a year for covered, in-network care. After that the plan pays 100%.

The number that matters in a bad year. Compare it before the premium.

Copays and coinsurance

A copay is a flat amount for a visit or a prescription. Coinsurance is a percentage of the bill after the deductible.

If you see a doctor often, copays before the deductible matter more than the deductible itself.

Network: PPO, HMO, EPO

The doctors and hospitals the plan pays for. An HMO needs a primary doctor and referrals; a PPO lets you go out of network at a higher cost; an EPO is in-network only, no referrals.

A plan that does not include your doctor is not a cheaper plan. Give us the names and we check.

Prescriptions

Each plan has a drug list (formulary) with tiers. The tier sets what you pay.

The same medication can be $10 on one plan and $300 on another. Name it and we check.

How it works

Three steps, one place for everything

  1. 1

    Tell us about your household

About five minutes on a phone. Who needs coverage, where you live, your budget, and the doctors and prescriptions you want checked. No Social Security number or payment is asked for.

  2. 2

    A licensed agent reviews it

A real person, licensed in your state, compares the plans available to your household, checks networks and drug lists, and prepares options with the premium, deductible and out-of-pocket maximum side by side.

  3. 3

    Compare, ask, enrol

Your options land in a private portal where you can compare them, ask questions, and tell your agent which one fits. Enrolment is completed with your agent, on the carrier or the Marketplace.

Questions people ask

Will I qualify for Marketplace savings?

It depends on your household size and your estimated yearly income, and the Marketplace makes the final decision when you enrol. Give us both and your agent shows what the Marketplace would apply, using the same figures.

Private plan or ACA Marketplace?

Marketplace plans cover pre-existing conditions and can come with income-based savings; private plans are medically underwritten and suit some healthy households. Your agent lays out both, with the trade-offs, before you choose.

When can coverage start?

Marketplace coverage is bought during Open Enrollment, or after a qualifying life event such as a move, a new baby or losing employer coverage. Private and dental or vision plans can usually start within weeks. Tell us the date you have in mind.

Why do you ask about medications and doctors?

So the plan we recommend actually covers them. Names are enough; we check each plan’s drug list and network. You can leave both blank and tell your agent on the call instead.

Does it cost anything to review my options?

No. Licensed agents are paid by the carrier when you enrol; the premium is the same whether you enrol through us or on your own.

Who sees my information?

The agent assigned to your request and the agency that supervises them. It is used to prepare your options and is not sold or shared for marketing.

Is a quote a binding offer?

No. A quote is an estimate prepared from the details you give. The carrier or the Marketplace confirms eligibility, the premium and any savings before coverage starts.
